Character:
AppleJack
AppleJack
Alt Name:
Apple J
Reason Applying For:
I feel I can connect with AppleJack pretty well, being a Country boy in real life and having played cowboys/farmers before. I also love her honesty, it's such an important aspect in life and yet so many people overlook it. I'm hopeful I can do her justice but I will be completely understanding if turned down.
What do you know about this character?
AppleJack is a hard working Earth Pony with a "down to Earth" attitude. She lives with her Granny Smith, big brother Big Mac, and little sister Apple Bloom out on Apple Acres Farm. She loves her family, and she's deeply devoted to them. Any time they need her, she'll be there In fact, any time any pony needs her, AppleJack is quick to be there for them. She takes her duty as an apple bucker serious, and never tries to skip corners or cheat on her chores. She values getting her hooves dirty over staying clean and pristine, but respects that some ponies don't like the dirt, like Rarity. AppleJack is a steady and honest pony, not afraid to give her opinion but never in a manner that might hurt another pony's feelings. Because of this, many other ponies seek AJ for advice, knowing she'll always tell it like it is as politely as possible.
How often are you online?
As of late its been sporadic for RP but my schedule is definitely settling to where I can be active a lot more. Weekends I'm normally not available as I devote that time to my family. However, major events that occur on the weekend can be worked into the schedule so I can be there!
A roleplay example:
AppleJack sat up as the crow of the rooster reached her ears. Hoof rose to her mouth as she gave a soft yawn, smacking her mouth noisily a few times. She rubbed her foreleg against her eye as she threw the blanket off her, then she slipped out of her bed and stalked over to the window. The only one who would be awake right now would be Granny, AppleBloom and Big Mac normally resting until 'breakfast' was hollered. Rearing up slightly, AppleJack pressed her hooves to the windowsill and leaned into it. The sun was shimmering over the apple orchard, the glisten of the apples against the trees like rubies, emeralds and gold embedded in soft green pillows. This was her favorite time in the morning. Everything undisturbed and beautiful. The blonde mare smiled as she pushed her window open and took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air that rushed her face. A perfect morning. Her bliss did not last, however, as a knock came to the door. "AppleJack? You want to lend me a hand with breakfast?" Granny asked. AppleJack pushed off her window and grinned brightly. "O'course, Granny." She picked her hat up off the bed and tossed it on, then followed the elder pony down toward the kitchen.
