One would think there was rhyme or reason to what the Spirit of Chaos did. He acted for the sake of chaos, one could claim. They would be wrong. Another could asert he acted arbitrarily. They would also benjoy wrong. At the same time the aforementioned two would be correct in their stamding. Everything and nothing, nothing and everything. He was a collaborative conundrum with as much purpose as night and day. You'd never think to need both, or either. Could the world just exist in perpetual Twilight? Consistent mornings? Persistent evdnings? One could not say. He had to make a choice, though. Did he pay heed to that gtpsy's fortune, or submit his meeting her was a curse? The worries accumulated had compounded. He was more than willing to give up. But the spirit's stubborn streak was also cataclysmic. He teetered on the edge of chaos for good and chaos for evil. Reformed he may be, but it was a label he could never wash away. Even as he tries to do good in this... shadow. He turned hid head to gaze upon the mirror that sat in the solar mare's room. He was currently rest in his unicorn foem. The grey body was splayed across the bedding as his forehooves were slung over its edge. A black mane was slicked back, yet remained wild and defiant. His blue, crinkled horn stood out as much as those ruby eyes of his. As he tilted his head the beast could only lament. The mirrors reflection showed his true visage. He was a devil with feathers and scales, aa well ad beady dual-colored eyes that fed the monstrous row of fangs their displeasing angle. As he stepped off the bed with a hoof, the mirror would follow with a claw. He could always change what was on the putside... Displeased by the limited nature of this shadow, the officer of false pretenses crawled into the hall. The divide between day and night had become smaller since Celestia's retuen. By his internal measures the day was ending. His hoof beats carried him across the halls towards the other end of the castle where the moon mare's tower was. His crossed the way before coming to a stop at her door. His horn would glow, enveloped by soft, white magic. The chamber doors would be pushe'd opeb, were there no spells blocking his way. A few, mishandled, 'events' caused him to be the target of the lunar diety's annoyance. Once open he would march inside. The limp he walked with was obvious, a testimony to his true self. Pulling himself onto the bedding's edge the unicorn would settle close to any present lump. Magic would once again veil his horn so that the sheets could reveal what was, hopefully his prize. Ears would pin back and he shuffled close to press his muzzle against their sleeping ones, had they been so lucky. A kiss the wake the princess. Mal

There were no wards set upon the doors to Luna's quarters, nor on her balcony or around her room in general. While she'd threatened in her anger, she couldn't yet bring herself to do it. There was still the possibility that Discord could be trusted to cease waking her up so rudely. Luna wanted to trust him to finally listen and let her sleep in peace. It bothered her, yes, and angered her upon being first woken so rudely, but anger faded in time. So did annoyance, provided it didn't continue to happen.
Luna slept peacefully, glad to return to her nocturnal schedule and her more peaceful, nightly role.. if her sister was truly strong enough to bring the sun forth from the horizon. Surely she would be, once she was reconnected to it, to draw strength from it as Luna did from the moon. She could only wait and see how Tia fared now that she was rested, no longer bedridden, and properly healed. Luna's actions in the past, and her guilt from them, had driven the lunar princess to grow that much more protective of Celestia, so this one attack from such an unexpected and trusted quarter worried her greatly. Who was next to try their hoof, as Azure did?
Even their guard, as skilled and trained as they were, could not protect them from the actions of ponies they thought were allies. Azure was still her scribe, and still an ally.. but she had lost some of Luna's trust. In time, perhaps, if her scribe showed remarkable improvement, they could forge trust anew. Something better this time.. but she might always have a careful teal eye upon her.
This night, Luna would be glad to find her awakening was not a harsh one, with loud alarming noises, but the soft kiss from a disguised spirit. She was already on the verge of waking up when she felt it, feather light, on her own lips; the shift of her covers was barely noticed, until that kiss drew her further towards consciousness.
Luna sleepily opened her eyes to find Strife's face inches from her own and she offered him a smile. "Ah, how pleasant! This I prefer." She spoke, softly, after a moment of gathering her wits, and thoughts, from her own land of dreams. "You should wake me like this more often."

The guised unicorn could be accused of watching the mare in her sleep on occassion. Perhaps it was l jealousy or the desire to corrupt that innocent face (again) he had played mean tricks to force her from slumber to attend his own, selfish games. It was his way, oft, of displaying affection. To whisk another away to his games with general no-goodery along the way. He was a problematic good, but he did care. He did love her, so her more irritated bound threats did to have him reconaider his awkward play.
His ears perked as the princess slowly roused from her slumber. He leaned to rest his cheek on his hoof, the corner of his muzzle curling into a smirk. He reached out his other hoof to play with her mane's bangs, brushing them aside.
"A kiss to wake the princess from the curse of deep slumber?" He mocked. "How very cliche." He was such a twase. "But I will admit I like the idea." He seemed distracted.
If Celestia was not the pregnant one, was Luna? That gypsy had told him there was a foal in his future. After harm had come to Celestia... had she been pregnant... The thought distressed him a bit, causing his fur to bristle. He looked to Luna before stretching himself out to lay his head pin her chest. He was turned so he could face her muzzle. He gave a yawn, those raccoon marks under his eyes showed the insomniac nature of the spirit. While sleep he could do, he oft did not.
"Ah," he grunted. "I prefer to lay in bed with you and make you feel like a lady." He waggle his eyebrows suggestively. "I could make you see stars instead of you raising the moon." Of course his suggestion to bed her over regulating the natural balance of day and night was very.. chaosy.
Though he would have preferred it, even if getting Luna to disregard her responsibility was nigh impossible. He'll do it one day.... rrr~

A yawn escaped the waking princess and she pulled a forehoof up and from beneath her covers to wave it at Discord's disguised form, as though waving his mock away. It was dropped when he reached to sweep that curl of bangs away from her face, and she lay there, still, at the gentleness of it.
"You are hardly the one waking me, but I do admit you did help with the process."
If it weren't for the weight of the pony-form of the draconequus settling on her, she would've sat up to escape some of the comfort of her bed, before she was convinced to lay around in bed a little longer.. which might've been what Strife intended. "It doth sound nice, but I am afraid I have had little interest in it as of late." The worry of her sister certainly did that. Who could think about such acts when her own sister had been injured to near death, and left bedridden in a temporary coma? The images of Tia's bed, soaked in the blood of the sun, was a hard one to shake.
Luna moved her hooves to lightly rest them around Strife's neck while he lay there, half on her, and yawning. His yawn almost prompted another from the moonbringer, but she fought it back with an effort. She supposed she could lay here a moment more, cuddling up on the disguised spirit.. before she was required to rise with the moon. Her duties, thankfully, were not so many and demanding as Celestia's. Never again, if Luna could help it.

The spirit had been moody since the solar mare's injuries. He felt at fault and could not help but wonder if it had been, wholly, his fault. While the lunar mare took some of the blame, he had been the one there every step of the way. Azure had slowly gone mad and madder, and he had done nothing to stop it. If anything he had all but encouraged it. It was unsettling. He couldn't wash the blood off his paws. He would remain in the washing room longer than he would normally, scrubbing his paw until it was raw. He had never dealt with that before. Blood. He would not want to deal with again. It was cold. Holding his mate who had nearly died was not something he would be able to handle ever again. He felt it, her lifeforce. It was at the very edge. He couldn't talk to Luna about it. All he could do was ensure they were safe. Healthy.
Since Celestia woke he had settled. In a way some would say the spirit had become lethargic. He would quietly snark from corners or make faces at visitors, but he would never come out from behind the throne. something had him unsettled. It was enough to change him. His personality had not changed, but he seemed just -- hurt.
He leaned his head up and brushed it against the mare when her hooves moved to rest on him. "Hmm shame, but I shall pester you soon enough for such attentions." He crooned warmly.
Affectionate still, but there was a part of him that seemed to turned away. Pricking his ears he glanced up at Luna. "If I cannot convince you to remain in bed longer, what shall you be doing this evening? That is besides paying attention to me?" It was assured he would likely interfere with her plans were she to tell him. But he would interfere either way most likely. After a moment he pushed his muzzle up to give her another, lazy, kiss. Rolling onto his side he snaked off the bad, landing on his hooves. He stretched out his legs before sitting, turning an eye to observe the mare. "Did you hear about the strange creatures coming out of Everfree lately?" He questioned, pushing to stand and walk up to her side. He was to likely follow whatever she chose to do.

One of those resting hooves moved to stroke at the black mane of Discord's pony disguise, an idle gesture, while she lay there and allowed her newly-awoken mind to wander. It did wander over her sister, but all of what she thought about before was now past. Celestia was awake, and well, taking back her duties. Luna could've stuck around to help, but she wasn't required. It.. saved her, somewhat, from having to deal with it another day, and she was thankful. She only hoped her sister was well enough to handle it, but with Kibitz she certainly may be.
The princess bent her head to try to nuzzle Strife and return his kiss before he withdrew from her bed, allowing Luna to roll up onto her stomach, gathering her legs beneath her. "You could have convinced me, had you tried." It was a gentle tease, because Strife didn't really try all that hard to convince her to lay around. She would've resisted regardless, because she had her nightly schedule to catch up on. Luna rose from her bed, stepping out a hoof at a time.
"Paying attention to you, and making sure all is well with the night guard, the captain, and with dreams." Luna couldn't have been able to stay up too late while she'd been on Celestia's schedule, or else she wouldn't have ever been able to get any sleep. And a tired Luna was a very angry, impatient one.
"Strange creatures, from the Everfree? No, I have heard no such reports. Will you tell me of this, please, while I groom?" Luna asked as she set herself beside her table, levitating her mane brush up to tame that ruffled veil of stars. While the airy, floaty hair that made up her mane made each of her movements light and graceful.. they could be a pain to brush down into something neat and tidy. It took her some time each night, or day, that she rose, and in that time she awaited the information Strife had offered so freely.

The spirit did not feel like himself. Was he ever himself? Pressing his hoof against his fur covered chest. He could not help but recall what he saw in the mirror. Maybe it was his own dreams eating away at him, manifesting in that way that they did. He was a lot more than just the lord of chaos. Or the terror of Canterlot. The beast of Ponyville. Oh the titles do go on, far beyond the boarders of Equestria. He let out a sigh, chest heaving, shuddering. That damn reflection. It was a reality he had to live with. He couldn't continue pretending he was this... this bag of fur and old bones. He had wanted to be a pony once. To play with Celestia and Luna with their little ponies. He knew he was different, but he was still proud of his power because no one could stop him from really being.
It was complicated. That would be his eternal status update.
The unicorn folded back his ears when Luna hinted at the impossible possibility of her staying in bed, causing him to let out a whine. "Do not tempt me with dreams my love. I dislike waking from such tantalizing prospects." He would state, curling his left forehoof against his chest.
The male would stand to walk toward Luna as she stepped from the bed. The way he limped was a bit amusing, but to most outsiders it seemed the old unicorn had legitimate war wounds! Though the only wounds this one suffered were that of the ego. To be out-sassed by a half-sleep mare. What was the world coming to? He lowered his head as he drew nearer her form and went to rub himself against her like an overgrown cat. One could almost see the flash as fur turned to feathers, but a trick of the mind, for the unicorn was far from the slippery serpent he was oft portrayed as in tapestry and stained glass. Not today. As he walked around the mare, his grey hooves clicking against the ground: he would eventually settle on her left side. He was hardly to her shoulder with his own, but that did not stop him from acting big. He leaned up to nose her muzzle, lips pulling back in a growl. He revealed his snaggletooth and gave a cast away glance.
"Such a cruel lover~" He teased before settling in a most presumptuous pose! "Well of course you should be paying heed to my presence! I'd go absolutely mad you know. I need attention at least a hundred times a day." He snorted at the mention of the Night Guard. "Oh they'll be fine. What trouble can they get into?" His head rolled to the side to give her an amused look. "What? Do you expect they would have moved an inch from where they posted themselves? Don't worry I believe they are all still breathing." It was his job, after all, to make sure she did not do her job! How ironic things were sometimes.
Discord paced forward. His short, cropped tail flicked upward as he looked back over his shoulder at her. He grinned and gave his brow a waggle. "You could visit my dreams, or I could give you some lovely dreams." Ever the flirt.
Seating himself he looked into her mirror and brushed at his non-existent brows. Really stellar when he was in his natural form, but these those thing lines did get out of hoof occasionally. "Hmm, oh yes, quite odd in fact." he leaned back and turned to look to Luna. "They aren't strange at'all. Ordinary creatures. Raccoons, birds, rabbits... but that is the odd situation in and of itself. Nothing else has come out of Everfree." And that was never the case. Every few weeks, at least, of not ever other day with troublesome, chaotic things getting stirred up in there. And it was far from Discord's realm of control, anyway.
Most of the time.
He watched as she groomed, fascinated by her mane. His ears perked as he stared, interesting in what she did. His horn would light up, veiled with his uniquely colored magic in an attempt to steal the brush from her so he could groom her instead. The stallion stood and scooted closer. He sat once more and would try to brush her mane down. "Hmm you see, there is a rumor about chaotic things. When they stop, something worse takes its place."

A smile flickered across the lunar deity's face at that whine. "I can very well tempt you with dreams." She was, after all, the dreamwalker.. but not the weaver. Dreams came of a pony's own mind, though she was sure there was a possibility one could weave dreams if they knew the magic. She could, just as her corruption could've caused nightmares. There was something before Discord's whine that she hadn't been sure if though, distracted as she was with brushing her mane. He'd shuddered at something.
Luna considered asking him what was the matter, but he'd already risen to curl around her like a large, equine cat. She snorted softly in amusement, the brush in her magical grip faltering from grooming out her mane. "After the way the last captain disappeared, I have now appointed a new one, and I wish to check to make sure all is running well. It is only an initial desire of mine, before I can be comfortable letting Moon Keeper do his job without my hovering over his shoulder like a concerned mother." Luna just needed to be sure that whatever pony or force did away with the old captain wouldn't do the same with the new. Her head was tilted down to brush into the nuzzle.
"I may consider it." The princess replied. "Ordinary animals? This does not sound strange at all, many ordinary animals live within the forest.. unless you mean to say that these animals are coming out of the forest in great flocks of them. I might consider that strange. So long as there are no manticores or anymore cockatrice attacking Ponyville." Her brow had furrowed, but she didn't consider the news to be odd enough to be worth her interest unless those ordinary animals were acting very, very odd.
With her mind focused on these things, she could hardly stop or resist Strife stealing her manebrush from her, so she let him. It'd be far more pleasant to allow another to brush her mane, than herself. "What is it do you mean by that exactly? Do you mean to tell me that there is something coming?"

Was delighted to take the brush and more so she had no qualms about it. There were few things Discord throughly enjoyed. Make-overs was one of them. The calm, soothing touch of another stirred up by gossip and paranoia over who liked who~! Though in such a form it hardly seemed normal. But when was he ever normal? The normality one was responsible for their own grooming seemed, to the spirit, a distsncing, modern device that did little to produce happy, social ponies. At least among mated individuals. He has seen many things in his lifetimes... he has never seen a happy, bonded pair, or herd, not grooming one another.
He kept the brush moving to draw her mane of stars this way and that. "Think of th Everfree Forest like Chaosville." He began.
As he brushed his magic nosed around her vanity moving things, placing them upside down if need be, or balancing objects precariously to cause distress. He kept his eyes on her face, strictly avoiding peering into the vanity's mirror. Even as he tried not to, as he moved, he could catch glimpses of that beast beneath the mask. But none would be able to see what he saw. He saw the true face of chaos that became harder and harder to hide. He would locate what it was he was picking about for, though by the disruptive searching one could have assumed he merely was trying to cause trouble. A ribbon was pulled from a drawer. Had that been there, or had he planted it there.
"There are many odd things in Chaosville, but you could always expect it to behave very opposite of expectations. The Everfree isn't bound by the magic of ponies, nor does it obey the demands of deer." He explained. "It is know to disregard your rules and does as it pleases. But why is it suddenly jibe having like an ordinary forest?" He wondered, seemingly ignoring Luna's question.
His short muzzle scrunched up in a grin as he twisted her mane loosely and would tie it up at the base. Such a style kept her man swept to one side, exposing her neck, most sensually for the 'unicorn'. He chuckled and leaned forward to kiss at her neck. He found her quite lovely. But he was stalling. Even if he legitimately enjoyed being exposed to her company, he also enjoyed distracting her from her duties~♡

Princess Luna was certainly happy to sit here for as long as it was required, until it was time to bring the night that was, and let Strife brush her mane. It felt so much more pleasant with somepony else to do it, rather than it being her own doing. With her awareness on it near the back of her mind, Luna focused on Strife's explanation of the Everfree Forest. She'd explored those wild woods plenty enough in those days of yore to know it very well. Her brow furrowed.
"I know this. It has always held ordinary animals, but this does raise some concerns." He hadn't answered Luna's questions, and she noticed that. What she almost failed to notice was how the few belongings in her room were being played with while she was focused on Strife's face. It wasn't until she thought she saw movement out of the corner of her eye that she'd looked, and saw some things were not as they were. She tried to hold in some of her annoyance, and couldn't; what came out was a soft sigh. Luna would put things right later. For right now, her eye was caught by the ribbon as it fluttered across, to be twined in her mane to bind it there alongside her neck, much like the way Strife's braids tended to lay.
The kiss to her neck prompted a shiver from Luna, and she bent her head to nibble at one of the ears of his disguise. "So tell me, what causes this change in the Everfree Forest's behavior? Or is this another game of yours to make me figure it out all on my own?" Luna teased, knowing enough of the spirit to know how he sometimes liked to do things. Her mind was still in the process of fully waking, but the gears within it were beginning to turn.
The wild animals of the Everfree Forest, such as the manticores, the cockatrice, the cragodiles, and the rest of those more fascinating creatures wouldn't leave it, surely. There was no other forest around for miles save for the Everfree itself. There were the deer which called it home, too, and lived in harmony with it; as much as a species could live in harmony with a self-sustaining forest as that. What did the ordinary animals have to do with anything?

The 'unicorn' took a moment to admire his work. She did look quite adorable when pouting. On the annoyed gaze did not escape his notice. Twisting them and aggravating their emotions stirred his baser instincts. While he was naturally composed, he showed tendencies of madness. It was hard to tell if he was simply very old and wise, or if his mind had since been consumed by age. No matter which it was the source of his dizzying personality resulted in a contrary creature. On matters he found he was more keen on ridding ponies, watching them struggle along their fate. When it came to the sisters, it was hardly any different, but they were extra special to him.
The nibble on his ear cause hid short fur to bristle and muzzle to blush. He glanced up towards Luna, ruby eyes looking rather normal when compared to the mad, non-conforming sizes of his gold painted, red-pupiled ones. He raised his left hoof to tuck against his chest as magic carried the brush to rest back on the vanity. There was a moment he caught sight of his visage. The corner of his lips turned up in annoyance. Hearing Luna speak up his eyes would pinch up in a soft smile.
He pushed to stand, his head tilting. "Since you have been so patient, I'll give you a little hint." Heflin ked his tail and moved himself to rub down Luna's side before he twisted around to stand with his head as close to hers as he could at this size. "The normal creatures tend to remain safely in hiding, but are risking leaving the very forest the provides them with food and safety? I wonder what cold be scarier than an owlbear." He mused.
He rubbed his head against Luna's cheek, his sleepy little mare. After a moment he would glance down her form and sigh. He wasn't sure if either of them were pregnant, but was it a good idea to have a monster's foal? Would it be normal or turn out like him? He still wanted a family with him, but after Azure's fiasco he was intent on keeping them safe. He had considered the progress in his life thus far. Celestia and Luna had become stronger over time, their teamwork had been focused enough to defeat him when he was distracted.
He needed to raise his power as well... this could be a way. "A little exploration never hurt anypony~" Exploration actually hurt a lot of ponies. Thanks.

Luna took note of how the spirit-turned-pony flustered, and even blushed. She would remember to go after his ears again in the future, if she wanted to draw out that reaction again. Her head was lifted as the princess straightened up, letting the tied mane drift back against the side of her neck as she awaited his response. She thought she caught something of an expression of annoyance, for a brief moment while he was putting her brush away, but Luna couldn't be sure.
It was let go of easily when he offered up that hint. Something in the woods was scaring out the animals.. It was a good thing that such creatures like the manticores and owlbears weren't leaving the Everfree Forest too, or else she'd have a lot on her hooves to help deal with such creatures harassing Ponyville's citizens. "Indeed, that is odd if they are escaping the forest. Poor Fluttershy must be so worried, and her hooves full." Luna knew how much the timid pegasus cared for animals, great and small, normal and dangerous.
"I just cannot imagine what might be scaring them out. What would upset the Everfree so badly as to scare them out." Short of Discord's plundervines, that was. "Your suggestion of exploration doth pique my interest, and it may be something worth checking out. It has been a while since I have gotten to explore." Luna rose to her hooves, gathering her regalia and donning it as she oft did. It would be a short matter to raise the moon and fly out to the Everfree.

He pricked his ears, brow arching as she moved the adjust her mane. Though he did not often express it seriously he did think the mare beautiful, among other personal admirations he held towards her. Her soft fur was something he could adore for hours on end, brushing his paw through it contently. He lamented having lost so many centuries. Where he could have spent it with them, he spent it contesting them and than trapped in stone. He supposed there was naught he could do about it. The present was only capable of changing the past and the past eforced the future, while the future was determined by an unbending structure of pathe constantly interchanging, appearing and vanishing. He loved them for a long time, but it was not until recently that he desired more with them beyond the simpleft games and arbitrary assumptions of their inferior hobbies.
Like taking care of ponies.
He supposed they were okay.
The troubles the sisters struggled with were either a direct or indirect result of his actions and inactions. Who was to say the Bugbear incident was because he wanted some honey with his tea. Do you know how difficult it was to reroute that cart transporting that Bugbear? Tomfoolery aside, he found the lunar mare's perchance to join him in his games a find memory among many he has lost. It was an unfortunate business when you were immortal and have lived beyond many that you knew. Yes he could go back and find them, but in the end some memories were stronger than others.
He continued to relish in rubbing his skull against the mare until she spoke up, causing the spirit in disguise to seat himself. "She has been having a difficult time as well." He rumbled. "She is pregnant and that useless clod spends more time working than spoiling her." He spoke as if totally offended by the idea, and he was!
Since that gypsy planted the thought, the possibility, of one of the mares possibly being pregnant he remained close, just in case, but he had not yet noticed evidence from either of them. He walked around Kuna as she dressed for the evening, ears pricking as he wondered on their regalia. His tail gave a little twitch before it stood up from his flank. He pushed up close against her.
"Since I am a prince to my dear princesses," he tittered. "I should be dolled up as well~" Oh he did enjoy being outstanding.
Luna noted her interest in his temptations. A grin drew itself on his features, the unicorn's grin as dark as his mane. "Oh, such pleases me my love. We shall make haste. I will shed this form and we could~ fly together." He would whisper the last but in her ear.

Princess Luna shook out those graceful wings of her, dipping her head towards one to preen and straighten out the feathers. She thought to do the same to the other to ensure she was ready to go, and one ear twitched towards Strife's irritation over Fluttershy's new coltfriend. "It still baffles me the lady is pregnant. A timid one such as her, with her love for animals.. I suppose I did not ever expect her to find herself a stallion, let alone kindle a foal." Luna commented on it, straightening up and folding her wings back against her sides.
"Some stallions, and some mares, do work for their significant others to ensure they have the money and food to get by and so they may spoil them as you say. He may be doing it for Fluttershy." She suggested, hoping to soothe his mind on Flashgun. "If he is only selfishly spending his money on himself, that may be a different story." Luna only hoped not. The colt, the times she met him, (other than his apparent nervousness being around one such as her) did come off a little abrasive.
Her head turned towards Strife, a smile quirking the corners of her mouth up as he spoke of 'dolling himself up.' "Yes, it would be interesting to find some regalia for you. I just wonder, what would work?" A crown to fit his strange skull, or a gorget? The shoes that they wore wouldn't work for a chimeric beast as Discord, with his mismatching limbs. Something decorative, perhaps, but in time when his courting of them became more well known. That was one topic that she wondered about. When would they reveal it?
"To fly together would be a pleasure. It is rare enough that Tia and I may soar, when Equestria and the Crystal Empire is not under threat. We are a pair now, are we not? It should be right that we should have a flight together."

The grey stallion pricked his ears as Luna moved to preen her wings. The way his whole body moved, so animatedly, was comical. His eyes would widen slightly and his limbs would lock as he straightened himself. Ruby eyes focused on her action as he would slow his pace. With every step the male became considerably more enthralled. He had never truly preened them in such a way. He preferred to use his claws to comb and brush through their fur and feathers. In the stead of wiggling digits his forehooves kneaded against the ground in the thought. Holding them against his body was his favorite passtime.
Discord would frown slightly when Luna suggested the creepy little rat of a pony may be trying to earn bits. He was not even sure if Fluttershy needed bits. She always seemed to be well off on her own . Honestly he never bothered to ask how she earned. The process of earning bits had never interested him, until he wanted to get things for the sisters to excite them rather than manifest arbitrary objects that belonged elsewhere. He stepped close so he could raise his head and nuzzle her cheek.
"Well I suppose there is nothing wrong with spoiling your partners a bit." He offered and airy giggle.
The spirit also knew what he would do to Flash Gun were he being selfish to his kind friend… He looked to Luna when she agreed to dressing up. His cropped tail wiggled as he cocked his head. What indeed. While his smaller pony form could easily conform to the various armor and fashions provided by pony ingenuity, he… was not a pony. He deflated a bit. His tail dropped and his ears pinned back. He supposed it was not realistic to try and dress up a falsehood. Making his lie pretty.
He never meant to have the topic of his courting them secret, or hidden. He merely sought to garner their affection in private, for their sakes. There are many who would protest his being a monster of yore. While accepting of his role as a chaotic diety, he was not prepared to have the rabble turn on the sisters, of whom they spent the better portions of their lives nurturing. He did not want to be a source of unhappiness for them, since they loved their little ponies quite a bit. He understood that now.
Since he would be unable to properly fly in such a limited guise he began to shed the mask. His long tail of scales slithered to the ground as his patchwork limbs would propup his serpentine body, of which was covered in thick, brown feathers. His grey furred neck curled back as his head smugly poised. He was greatly chuffed hearing that Luna would be pleasured to fly with him. But it was not but a second later that a blush dusted the tip of his muzzle and his fuzzy cheeks. The light painting of embarrassment came from her easily threaded words of their bonding.
He pulled his head back, forepaw and foreclaw tucking inward as he postured. His throated cleared as those twitchy ears of his folded back. "Well of course!" He professed as his wings would stretch out.
While he did not necessarily fly with his wings often: he could, this once. If Luna really enjoyed such a thing. Hearing her speak so fondly over the activity caught him by surprise. She was exceptionally adorable when she was upfront about such things. An activity bonded pairs did? They had flown together once before and they had seemed happy too. He considered doing such regularly with her. Perhaps it would keep their bond strong. He would not mind lounging in a cloud with her.. holding her close, or even having his way with her.
"Oh…" he giggled at he raunchy thought. "Very well~" He cooed, leaning his skull to hers, the now undisguised draconequus exposed. "If such is your wish~ I could spoil you with such often." He nipped at her cheek and ambled along.
He would watch her raise the moon, something he did not often observe, but instead disrupted from a distance. They would be able to find a place to take off from after. He kept close to her side, her left side. He would not set off from the ground, but rather keep his best to pace along with her. It was a fond expression for the spirit to forego his levitation.
